Each style can be purchased from Poolinfloor as a single head or if you buy “10” units we offer a discount! Each style pop-up head comes in a variety of color and they are extremely easy to install inside your Caretaker system. Simply remove your old-style pop-up head and insert a new one. The pop-up heads will sit flush to the bottom of your pool when installed correctly. We have also included links to each style sections at the bottom of this blog.

Caretaker Standard (Bayonet) Style Pop Up Heads

The second style we would like to discuss is the Caretaker 99 Bayonet Style Cleaning Heads. This specific style pop up head is the most common, or standard, for Caretaker pools built after 1992. These Caretaker cleaning heads rotate 18 positions in a full 360°, providing complete and reliable coverage. Each cleaning head requires one of 6 different nozzle sizes(Sold Here) to optimize the cleaning potential for the size and shape of your pool. The heads are available in a variety of colors to match your pool floor. Caretaker cleaning heads ensure a more thorough and effective cleaning than any other cleaning heads on the market. The standard heads come in either “High-Flow” or “Adjustable-Flow” (Depending on which nozzle you choose).

In conclusion, both heads have their own unique benefits but are required to be installed with the same head that is removed from your pool. In order to upgrade your threaded pop-up heads, you will need to swap out the collar in the pool floor. This process can take quite a long time as it requires you to chisel out your old collars and redo any plumbing.
