Hayward Check Valve (HPX2001-1499) Allows fluid (such as water or refrigerant) to flow in only one direction while preventing backflow. 

• One-Way Flow: When water or refrigerant flows in the correct direction, the valve opens, allowing smooth passage through the system.
• Prevents Backflow: If the flow tries to reverse, the valve automatically closes, preventing backflow that could damage the heat pump or other system components.
• System Protection: By stopping unwanted reverse flow, the check valve helps maintain proper pressure, efficiency, and prevents contamination or damage to pumps and heating elements.

This component is essential in maintaining the efficiency and longevity of the heat pump system by ensuring that fluids move only as intended.
