Hayward KIT-CHEMISTRY1, pH, ORP Sensor (HL-CHEM) is a component of Hayward's pool automation systems, specifically designed for advanced water chemistry management. This kit includes sensors that measure and regulate key chemical parameters, ensuring balanced and safe water conditions.

• pH Sensor:
  Monitors the acidity or alkalinity of the pool water. Maintaining proper pH levels helps optimize chlorine effectiveness and prevents equipment corrosion or scaling.

• ORP Sensor (Oxidation-Reduction Potential):
  Measures the sanitizer effectiveness in the water. It provides a real-time indication of the water's oxidation level, ensuring proper disinfection.

• Data Transmission to Automation System:
  The sensors connect to a control module that processes readings and automatically adjusts chemical feed systems for chlorine or pH control.

• Feedback for Precise Dosing:
  Based on sensor data, the system controls chemical dosing pumps to maintain ideal water balance without manual adjustments.

• Installation:
  Sensors are placed in the plumbing line or a flow cell assembly. Proper calibration during setup is crucial for accurate readings.

• Maintenance:
  Regular cleaning of the sensor tips prevents fouling that can affect accuracy. Recalibrate periodically and replace sensors when they wear out.
