Hayward HEATPRO 120K Heat Cool | HP31205T is an advanced heat pump designed to heat or cool your pool water.
- Heating Mode
- Air-to-Water Heat Transfer: The system draws in ambient air with a fan. The refrigerant in the evaporator coil absorbs heat from the surrounding air.
- Compression and Heat Exchange: The refrigerant is compressed, raising its temperature. This heat is moved to pool water via a heat exchanger.
- Water Circulation: Pool water enters through the heat exchanger, absorbing heat and warming up.
- Cooling Mode
- Heat Removal: The process reverses in cooling mode. Heat is extracted from the pool water and transferred to the surrounding air.
- Cooling Efficiency: The refrigerant absorbs the heat from the water, and fans expel it outside, reducing water temperature.
